Do Something Differently…Show Compassion and Patience To Yourself

As a fitness trainer in New York for over 14 years I have trained hundreds and maybe over 1000 clients. And I see that many are so impatient with themselves. And don’t know how to love themselves through exercise and eating healthy.

It is not about punishment and feeling shame and guilt. This is not the way to approach creating a fit and healthy lifestyle for yourself.

For this week, I want you to give yourself some patience. Be aware of the thoughts you’re saying to yourself. If it’s not from patience and compassion then you get to change that. Backtrack, delete, say and do it with LOVE.

    Woke up this morning and meditated. For breakfast had a banana and chocolate protein shake. My lunch is a turkey sandwich and dinner will be mashed califlower and baked pork chops.

    When I wake up, I like to pray and meditate before I start my day.
    Then I do my little workout and I’m good to go.

    I haven’t gotten any emails these last few days so I haven’t been able to check in.
    I have been struggling I haven’t been drinking as much water as I should. Due to being sick I haven’t gotten much exercise. I have been eating sort of healthy and I’ve been using my art to stay as stress free as possible

    MONDAYS!! What can I say? First day back at work after five days off was a success. Even made it to the gym!! Longer than 7 mins!! Unfortunately dinner is after 7 today 🙁 but absolutely NO carbs!! Keeping myself accountable!! Thanks for the support and daily reminders!!

    Today was good but had to adjust eating time to 8 because not home due to issues in time to prepare and eat for the whole family. Used new elliptical for 10 minutes. Plan on using elliptical in morning and evening starting with 10 minutes each time.

    Today was a better day. I walked a little over 2 miles at lunch. I also ate well today. I just have to take it one day at a time.

    I definitely got all my water in, and I met my goal of no carbs after 7. The exercise was me going to the store today – hubby’s still really sick, and I had to run the errand after coming home early. It’s getting better, and I still consider each day a victory, because I’m making more conscious choices about what I eat and how much I move. Prayer is my new go-to, and I’m doing a lot of it.

    Well……..I didn’t so so great today. My breakfast consisted of a few tablespoons of oatmeal & avacado on wheat toast.

    …ran out to do some errands and my hubby wanted McDonalds. I couldnt resist a small fry and a few of my sons nuggets and a bite of hubbys big Mac.

    Btw tomorrow is my birthday, and famiky members already dropped off two cakes. Lol

    • Focus on how you really feel. What you really really want. I’m not saying don’t have a bite or two. But really do through the process in your head of how you would feel indulging too much and then go through the process in your head of you would feel if you indulged just a little and still worked out that day and ate a healthy meal and drank your water.

    I’m starting to get the hang of it all. Drink almost all of the water. Eating before 7pm but tonight I lost track of time but was done eating by 7:10. Sugar is almost completely cut out except for the 2 spoons for my coffee. Exercise is ok.

    Day 5:good day today! Got in 14 glasses of water, stayed under my calorie goal, stopped eating after 7pm and went to zumba tonight. I love the way zumba makes me feel.

    Behind in my water, but concentrating on building my immune system back up after what was basically pneumonia. So concentrating on veggies, protein and portions. Didn’t count my “diet” lemonade in my fluids but I most definitely need to meditate more–my stress levels are off the charts. Going out for exercise tomorrow–been doing kinesiology exercises but that’s not enough.

    Today was a terrible day for me. I made an appointment to go see a neurologist for my chronic migraines and the seizures that keep reoccurring on a daily basis. Unfortunately, I couldn’t get squeezed in due to the long wait list my initial appointment was scheduled for 1/22/15 , so I guess I have to wait until then to see the doctor. Sadly, I had 2 seizures today which left me exhausted and quite overwhelmed with everything. I didn’t do my meditation today but I got at least 10 minutes of walking , i drunk 56oz of water and had a protein shake by Naked. I’m extremely exhausted ladies…praying for a better day tomorrow!

    Doing pretty good so far. Getting my 2 veggies in, doing better with the water and 7 minute workouts are on point.
