Manhattan Personal Fitness Trainer – Day 28

Enter A New World With Exercise

“When people start exercising other unrelated healthy behaviors start. People start eating better, become more productive at work, smoke less, show more patience with co-workers and family members, and use their credit cards less often. Exercise is a “keystone habit” that triggers widespread change in other aspects of their lives.” – From the book, The Power of Habit.

This is so very true.

I have seen it every single time a personal training client sees me consistently. After she gains the confidence knowing that she is capable of keeping the consistency of exercise she wants to do more. She wants to achieve other things in her life, like eating healthier or even quitting sugar or wheat.

I have had clients attract romantic relationships after years of being emotionally shut down, and even having the courage to pursue a new career or hobby.

Exercise is truly magical.

And I am so very honored every single time to be able to be a part of a Curvy Goddess’ process.
For those who are exercising regularly is it spilling into other aspects of your life yet? Please share in the comments section below.

I lack the motivation for consistency. I’m tired in the morning due to lack of sleep at night & I’m tired in the evening from the work load. I have gained 4 lbs since Jan.1, according to the scale this morning. Sooooo disappointed in myself!!!

Pamela don’t be so hard on yourself I know the feeling of lacking in sleep it is no fun. You might need to look into some natural sleep medicine. Also I know when I push myself to exercise it makes me feel better and have more energy throughout the day and helps me even sleep better at nightm also there is a yogi Carmel sleepytime tea that works wonders and taste great that may help you rest better. The key is to get into a routine and staying consistent. Best if luck to you don’t quit just keep going and in the end you will be proud of yourself. Stay bless beautiful curvy Goddess!

Thanks Melanie-I’m not giving up, I just need that extra push-SLEEP!!! I know I can do this but I only push myself to get out of bed & prepare for work. On average, I sleep about 4-5 hrs and that’s not straight sleep. I have tried melatonin. By the time it kicks in, it’s time to get up. Lack of sleep is my obstacle but I will persevere.Thanx again.

    Good morning

The question was asked if exercising or even adapting an healthier life has spilled over into other aspects of my life, I will say yes. Just this group alone as well as a healthier lifestyles has given me more confidence. At one time in my life, I used to do direct sells (Fun parties) and enjoyed meeting other people ( I just used it to socialize and I gave it up. Well now I’m back into the direct sell business again (Jamberry Nails) and I owe it this challenge as well as to my other support of being healthy. To me being healthier is not only your body, but also your mind and spirit. Which for me, also makes me a happier person.
